  What has happened to La Sable? Coffee can be very good but not consistently so. You will still find some of Canberra's best pastries and sweets here (No exaggeration: they do the perfect vanilla slice). Their pies and sausage rolls were once extraordinary but now tend to be light on filling, or overdosed on curry powder, or in the case of the sausage rolls, dripping oil.
